BDAS Coaching Staff


Raymond Hoffman, Jr.- Former gymnast, Memphis State cheerleader, and UCA and NCA head staff member, Raymond is the founder of Our Gym, Inc. and the BDAS cheer squads. He divides his time between wife Amy, also of Our Gym, and two children, Benjamin and Hailey, along with the gym and serving as a full time firefighter. In addition to coaching several cheer squads in the North Mississippi area, Raymond oversees all gymnastic classes and deals primarily with the senior co-ed squad.

Amy Hoffman- Former Pom squad member at Mississippi State, Amy is one of Mississippi's leading choreographers, taking many area dance teams to UDA nationals in Orlando. Now attending the University of Memphis as a music major, Amy oversees the Blue Diamond Jr. Coed team, and is looking forward to improving their national ranking of 3rd at last year's UCA All Star Nationals.

Justin Riley- Former varsity cheerleader for the national champion cheer squad at Northwest Mississippi Community College, Justin helps to coach the Senior Coed cheer squad. He also oversees coed stunt practices for the Jr. Coed cheer squad. Justin splits his time at the gym, with his full time job with a security company and his wife, Lisa.

Scott Mitchell- Former varsity cheerleader at Murray State University in Paducah, KY, Scott also has experience as a staff instructor for the American Cheerleaders Association (ACA). Scott assists with the senior coed practices, overseeing tumbling and coed stunting.

Sheryl Dawson- Former cheerleader for Kirby High School Co-Ed and alumni of the Blue Diamond program, Sheryl assists with both the Jr. & Sr. Coed cheer teams, lending her help in stunt transitions and technique critique. In addition, Sheryl is a full time student at the University of Memphis majoring in Marketing & Advertising, and works part time as a veterinary technician at the Collierville Pet Hospital.
