2000 American Cheer Power Tennessee Challenge

Competing last, the newly formed BDAS Junior Co-Ed squad walked onto the floor believing they were going up against 5 other junior level squads, including the Ellendale seniors. After a rough warm-up, the squad calmed their nerves to perform an excellent routine, hitting all stunts, even the new scorpions they had been working on. When the awards ceremony came around,  we found out the squad actually only competed against one other Junior Co-Ed squad, the All American All Stars from Murfreesboro, TN. All American placed 12th in the nation last year at UCA nationals. But Sunday, the Blue Diamonds prevailed, gaining a VERY well earned 1st place trophy. Congratulations Diamonds, you made us all so proud!!!
